Sponsorship Information

Your participation and support is requested for the 2nd International Symposium on Human Health Effects of Fruits and Vegetables. The objective of the "2nd International Symposium on Human Health Effects of Fruit and Vegetables” is to provide a forum for horticultural scientists, nutritionists, food scientists, biomedical scientists, chemists, biochemists, clinicians and medical professionals to exchange information and bridge the communication gap between the agricultural sciences, nutrition and health sciences. This symposium is sponsored by the Vegetable & Fruit Improvement Center (VFIC), The International Society for Horticultural Sciences (ISHS), the Center for Obesity Research and Program Evaluation (CORPE) in the Texas A&M University System, the National Institute for Agronomic Research (INRA), the Global Horticulture Initiative, and the Baylor College of Medicine. The symposium will be held during October 9th in Houston, Texas, USA. It will be an unique opportunity for those involved in the functionality of FAV to share ideas and to enjoy Texas hospitality.

All sponsors will be listed on the symposium website, participants program, signage in the meeting venue and during the conference.  Lead sponsors ($15,000) and Platinum sponsors ($10,000) will receive a full page add in the program, gold sponsors ($5,000) will receive a half page ad, and silver sponsors ($1,000) will receive a one fourth page ad.

Exhibitor Information

Exhibitors will be provided a table at the conference.  The table will be located in or near the general sessions, and will have ample access to conference participants. We expect approximately 300 participants involved in various areas of fruit and vegetable research for the event, all of whose contact information will be provided to exhibitors. 

Setup and dismantle times of the table-top displays will be provided at a later date. 

The cost for exhibitors is $3,000 which includes two (2) full registrations for the conference, excluding the banquet but banquet tickets can be purchased separately.  There is only a limited amount of space, therefore it is a first come first serve policy.
